I would recommend you go see another doctor until Dr. Lowe moves to a new practice or they fire all their staff and start over. Unfortunately now i'm looking for a new doctor.
Well past reviews don't lie. Office staff needs some help. Dr Lowe is a fine doctor just the support staff is not present.
Dr. Lowe i'm sure is a great doctor but her office staff are HORRIBLE! They almost never pick up the phone. They never return phone calls. Their office staff seems irritable if you talk to them on the phone or in person. The local pharmacists all know of this doctor's office as they have a difficult time when trying to resolve medication prescription issues and it is well known that that office is incapable of sending prescriptions electronically. I had them tell me they sent them twice to the pharmacy and Walgreens never received them at any location. I ended up going into the office to get hand-written prescriptions so i could get them filled. I also have been prescribed the wrong medication. I do not believe this was a mistake with Dr. Lowe but her staff who prints out the prescription for her. Granted she signed it but it was not the correct prescription and was something that i had explained to her that i had an allergic reaction to prior. The office seemed unwilling to work with me and the pharmacist to get it corrected. The pharmacist even agreed to take the medication back if they would agree to then send a corrected prescription as they saw I was given the wrong medication as it was different than what was prescribed for the last 2 years.
I agree with the above reviewer. Dr. Lowe is very good but her staff are horrible. You will never get in to be seen, you will never get a call back and they CAN NOT fax prescriptions either. They keep saying that they faxed it, but it never gets there. I had to go back repeatedly to get a prescription FINALLY faxed. This is the worst doctors office in the area. I swear they are are just a "people" factory. It feels like they want to get you in and out so they can make their "good doctor $$" and not like they really care about you at all. I also saw a doctor there for sleep apnea and all that doctor did was to have me wear a "finger" monitor to monitor oxygen overnight. When I came back to the doctor she said, "You don't have sleep apnea and we're not ordering anymore tests." I then went to an actual sleep study center--guess what, I actually have sleep apnea. On my Cpap I'm no longer having night episodes where I stop breathing! My blood pressure is also lower too. If I hadn't gone somewhere else my life was in danger because sleep apnea is nothing to mess with--it causes breathing to stop and heart beat to stop in the night too. These docs can't diagnose anything, and I'm pretty sure that they just want to save money with insurance by doing the "least" amount of testing possible. I, too, am looking for a new doctor.
