I have packages showing out for delivery on the USPS tracking site and and they don't show up for a day or two. It happens often. I don't know if it's the post office or the tracking site but this is getting old really fast.
We constantly receive notifications that our packages have been delivered but they do not arrive until 2-3 days later. Also, our mail delivery times are very sporadic. We did not receive mail Saturday 12-9 but on Sunday 12-10 instead. Everyone in our subdivision is experiencing the same problems.
The folks at the Sellersburg Post Office are top shelf. They have gone out of the way to help set up out of state PO Box (Kelly - Thanks-so-much). To the Gentlemen setting up our Pass Ports! Great customer service.
I will usually go out of my way to visit this specific post office. They have normal business hours, the people work efficiently and politely, and I never feel rushed or forgotten. The facilities are kept clean and overall it has a small-town feel.
